T&B: The Low Down

Welcome to Takes and Bakes! What's Takes and Bakes you ask? Well let me tell you, Takes and Bakes is a moment, a movement, a... couple of millennials who don't have the tech skills to make a podcast, so they decided... well a blog could work. And here we are. 

In case you weren't around in the year 2020 the world fell apart, socialization got real virtual, and two lifelong friends were searching for a way to connect across a pandemic and approximately 600 miles. BUT HOW?!?! Enter the Great British Bake Off (GBBO). One show, many seasons, twelve bakers, two judges, two hosts, and a bevy of bakes both signature and technical. Surely, SURELY, we could do something with that? We've both seen every episode at least... twice... or more.  And do something with it we did!
